Sprechen Zie Deutsche?

I found it rather interesting that a few days ago I started to receive spam email in German. I know just enough of it to recognize it, and get the “gist” of the conversation. It was all gibberish, much like those annoying emails we keep getting that are just a conglomeration of words that make no sense. Today I read an article on CNet News which revealed that hackers cracked the German version of the popular online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, to include false information about a new version of the Lovesan/MSBlast worm. It provided links to a supposed fix, according to Sophos. The fix was actually a piece of malicious code.

The code has now been eradicated on both the live and archived version of Wikipedia. But there is no estimate as to how many computer systems have been infected in the interim.
